Danielle Goldberg LCSW-C/LICSW, has 20 years experience as a clinician. She practices from a trauma-informed perspective and incorporates theories and interventions from a wide variety of practices including attachment-based, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral and mindfulness. Danielle has a warm and non-judgmental approach and firmly believes in a person’s inherent resilience and capacity to heal and overcome. Clients in MD and DC can schedule with Danielle.

Danielle identifies as sex-positive, and is familiar and comfortable with discussing sex in all contexts with clients, including working through past abuse. Her specialties include anxiety, depression, trauma, infertility, relationship concerns, past sexual abuse, and parenting issues.

One book that impacts Danielle's perspective on clinical work is Radical Acceptance: Embracing your Life with the Heart of a Buddha by Tara Brach. Clients who are interested in mindfulness and acceptance-based approaches, coupled with proactive CBT work, will find Danielle a wonderful fit.
